    Hi there,

Have you ever come up with a great idea for a web site? One that would make some aspect of your life easier, more fun? Perhaps you've invented a site which has the potential to go global and make you a living.

The problem is that web sites are hard to build, and the chances are that you don't know, or can't afford to hire, people with the right skills to get the web site built.

This is a forum for just that problem.

You come here and start a 'discussion' about the basic idea behind the site. Explain thoroughly the problem that your site is going to solve and why people are going to want to use it. If your idea is good and people agree with you then hopefully they'll start to leave comments explaining possible ways that your idea can be improved and made ready. If you are lucky you might even find a friendly developer who is willing to take your idea on and move away from this forum into the real world.

Your idea will be stored at the top of the 'discussion' and comments added below. Members can vote strong ideas up and weak ideas down, hopefully just the good ones will float to the top.

We cannot guarantee that someone won't just take your idea and go off and build it, but then that's why you posted the idea here in the first place isn't it? You might have a strong moral argument for 'owning' the idea for your web site, but please only post ideas here that you want to see discussed (or built) in a free and open way.

As always the more that you put in, the more that you will get out.

    Thanks and good luck.
